The West Ranch Baseball team has always enjoyed music at their practices and games. It started with a portable music system at the Colt Field supplied by ASB. Then the program purchased a basic PA system for the field on the WR campus and used it for a couple years. Back in those days Troy Hansen was keeper of the music! We used a Zune player by Microsoft to download songs. Then Mr. Lau helped us put in a better/stronger system and we made the jump to iTunes and a iPod. Many parents and players have donated iTunes gift cards so the collection of songs could grow. The Fogel brothers always pushed for some hip-hop and rap. These requests usually fell on deaf ears! The playlist continues to expand mostly under the direction of the Burrill Brothers. Casey loves his big hair rock bands from the 80's. Brady enjoys new hard rock. Some players have lobbied for songs and certain genre and have had limited success. But the list has a very diverse collection of songs and continues to have a life of it's own. Feel free to suggest songs and donated iTunes gift cards to the cause. Enjoy!
